The Wauwatosa Beautification Committee Inc. (WBC) is an organization committed to preserving and improving the beauty of our neighborhoods by planting and maintaining shrubs, perennial, and annual beds throughout the City of Wauwatosa. It is not funded by any governmental agency, but rather depends solely on funds raised through our Annual "Secret Gardens of Wauwatosa Tour" and support from individuals who have an interest in beautifying their community.

Participation can take the form of financial support, volunteer gardening, or sharing your time or talent working on the committee.

The Daylily  was designated by the Common Council in 1993 as the official flower of Wauwatosa. This carefree and colorful perennial is prized for its prolific flowering habit, its adaptability to a variety of environments and its low maintenance characteristics. Each year perennial beds through the city burst into bloom, enhancing the abundant and ever-changing landscapes in our community.
